There are also certain medications used for anxiety although it’s important that you try not to become addicted to or dependent upon these medications. Benzodiazepines and antidepressants are two types of medications used in anxiety treatment.
Medication is most effective when it is used in combination with behavioral therapy. But don’t expect a magic pill or isntant fix for all of your anxiety troubles. But this is only giving a temporary solutions for the problem. It’s important to get to the root source of your problem before your anxiety is cured.
There are also complementary treatments that have proven very helpful in anxiety disorders when used with therapy and sometimes medication. These include regular exercise, relaxation techniques, biofeedback and hypnosis. Some people with mild anxiety cases find treatment without using medications or therapy.
