So next you will want to use a coping statement. This is nothing more than stating what is happening to your body. If you feel as if you are having a heart attack you say the word “STOP” and then explain to yourself that you’re not having a heart attack but that your body is responding by making your heart beat faster. Your heart is fine and in a few minutes will start to feel just fine.

Lastly you need to accept your feelings. Panic attacks will usually come from an emotion like fear. You should take actions to help you feel more secure and then accept what it is that you’re afraid of. If you think you were having a heart attack, you should seek check up to make sure your heart is healthy.

By following these simple steps you can stop panic attacks. These four simple steps take only minutes to work through and will have you feeling better in no time. Don’t let your fears get the best of you. You need to take the right actions to fight these attacks. Remember that the most important thing is that you start feeling normal and well as soon as possible.
