A Cure For Panic Attacks - Immediate Panic Attack Help

Are you looking for some easy to do and useful techniques so you can find a cure for panic attacks? Read on my friend and you will do just that.
It may feel like you are about to die or have heart failure, but if you can realize that you are experiencing a panic attack you will be on your way to winning the battle. This will help more than you can imagine. When a panic attack begins to come on keep telling yourself that it is only a panic attack, you will live through it after it is finished.
A basic breathing exercise can be used very effectively as a cure for panic attacks. An easy tool to use is to focus all of your concentration on your breathing and count while you are doing this. You can count to 10 and then start all over.
Another cure for panic attacks you can use is to watch your wristwatch or a clock with a second hand. As your watch the second hand remind yourself that when just one minute passes that you are going to be fine. What you need to do is put all of your concentration on the second hand of the clock watching its every movement and not think about anything else. When a minute has passed, do it all over again.
Go for two minutes to distract you from the symptoms of the panic attack. The symptoms such as your hands feeling tingly and numb, that you aren’t able to catch your breath, your heart is racing, and the shear terror. By focusing on the 2nd hand you will actually distract yourself from the bad thoughts.
All of the feelings you are experiencing while doing this will still be there. You absolutely must stay focused with everything in you on that second hand. Keep doing this until the panic attack subsides, and it eventually will. If you keep on telling yourself this is just a panic attack and that you aren’t going to die will help alot too.
You can tell yourself things like I’ve been through this before and I know what to expect. This is only my mind pulling tricks on me, I’m going to make it though this. Find whatever you can to keep distracting yourself from the situation until the attack dies down.
By just sitting there and experiencing the symptoms will only make the panic attack worse. You must get out of that place and take your concentration off of your symptoms and put it on a cure for panic attacks.
Realize that a panic attack is a wave, and it will pass on its own as long as you don’t re-enforce it by focusing on your fear and your symptoms. It is a storm you will have to ride out and you can do that by focusing on anything but the symptoms. It will pass. Continually remind yourself that you are experiencing a panic attack and that you are not in harms way. It’s just your mind playing tricks on you. Everything will be alright.
